At present, Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru employs two full-time members of staff to manage and administer the association and to organize its activities programme.

Members of staff are not translators nor interpreters nor do they offer these services, but they are willing to give as much help as possible in order to find a translator/interpreter from among Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru's members.


Geraint Wyn Parry

Chief Executive

Geraint joined Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru at the end of April 2007. Before that he worked in various management, administrative and marketing posts with Cyfle (a media training company), Cyngor Gwynedd Council, Gwynedd County Council, the National Library of Wales, and theatre companies Cwmni'r Frân Wen and Cwmni Theatr Cymru.

He graduated in Welsh from SDUC Lampeter. Before that he was a pupil at Llandovery College, Barmouth Primary School and Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain - the London Welsh School.

He lives in Cricieth.


Nia Wyn Jones

Systems Manager

Nia graduated in Drama at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and then worked for twelve years as a freelance actress in film, television and theatre, mainly theatre-in-education. During this period she also worked as a department store sales assistant and as a tourist information centre receptionist in the Caernarfon and Anglesey area

In 1999 she studied for her Higher Bilingual Diploma in Administrative Procedures at Coleg Menai. On completion of her diploma she joined Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru as Administrative Officer in July 2000. She is now its Systems Manager.

Originally from Caernarfon, she now lives in Llangefni.
